Call to Worship

And many nations shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (Micah‬ ‭4:2‬)

Praise To The Lord

by Jaochim Neander; tr. Winkworth

Verse 1
Praise to the Lord
The almighty the King of creation
Oh my soul praise him
For he is thy health and salvation
All ye who hear
Now to his temple draw near
Join me in glad adoration

Verse 2
Praise to the Lord
Who oʼer all things so wondrously reigneth
Sheilded thee under his wings
Yea so gently sustaineth
Hast thou not seen
How thy desires have been Granted in what he ordaineth

Verse 3
Praise to the Lord
Oh let all that is in me adore him
All that hath life and breath
Come now with praises before him
Let the amen, sound from his people again
Let the amen, sound from his people again
Let the amen, sound from his people again
Gladly forever adore him

Dear Refuge

by Anne Steele and Kevin Twit

Verse 1
Dear refuge of my weary soul
On Thee, when sorrows rise
On Thee, when troubles roll
My fainting hope relies
To Thee I tell each rising grief
For Thou alone canst heal
Thy Word can bring a sweet relief
For every pain I feel

Chorus
Come quickly, come quickly, here to my rescue
Come quickly, come quickly, my rock of refuge
Come quickly, come quickly, be my strong fortress
You, Sovereign Lord, are my portion

Verse 2
Hast Thou not bid me seek Thy face
And shall I seek in vain
And will your sovereign grace
Be deaf when I complain
No still the ear of sovereign grace
Attends the mournerʼs prayer
Oh may I ever find access
To breathe my sorrows there

Chorus
Come quickly, come quickly, here to my rescue
Come quickly, come quickly, my rock of refuge
Come quickly, come quickly, be my strong fortress
You, Sovereign Lord, are my portion

Verse 3
Thy mercy seat is open still
Here let my soul retreat
With hope attend Thy will
And wait there at Thy feet

Chorus
Come quickly, come quickly, here to my rescue
Come quickly, come quickly, my rock of refuge
Come quickly, come quickly, be my strong fortress
You, Sovereign Lord, are my portion

Bring Your Sick

by Nathan Partain

Verse 1

Bring your sick, your restless fevered,
Filled with anxious shaking moans,
Who would kill for some relief from
All the itching in their bones.
Who still search for some elixir
That could ease their gasping breath,
Some sweet drink to drive the poison
From the writhing in their head.

Verse 2
Bring your wounded, all your broken,
Who can’t stand up on their own.
Who are weak beyond dignity,
Who will never become strong.
They will only need more helping—
Each investment is a loss.
Yes, bring all those who could never
return any of their cost

Chorus
Jesus Christ, says “Gather to me,
all you lost, you poor, you dead!
I’m your sacrifice, your ransom,
I was given in your stead.
I have found you, freed you, healed you,
my compassion you can trust,
I redeem the undeserving,
I am generous with my love.

Verse 3
Bring your fearful, bring your cowards,
Bring your hiding, cornered strays.
Those who fly at every shadow,
Those who run without a chase.
Bring the cursed, abused, neglected,
Who have lived their lives in caves,
Who distrust the light as darkness,
While they long to be embraced.

Chorus
Jesus Christ, says “Gather to me,
all you lost, you poor, you dead!
I’m your sacrifice, your ransom,
I was given in your stead.
I have found you, freed you, healed you,
my compassion you can trust,
I redeem the undeserving,
I am generous with my love.

Verse 4
Bring your bound, the souls imprisoned,
Bullied by the threat of pain,
Who have tried and tried for freedom,
But have always failed escape.
Those who live with their aggressor,
Whispering doubts into their ear,
Who dare not hope on a savior,
Lest they be crushed by despair.

Oh Spirit Lift Our Eyes To Jesus

by Matt Boswell and Trevin Wax

Verse 1
Oh Spirit, lift our eyes to Jesus
Help us see him in your word
The Hero of our great redemption
Suffering Savior, Risen Lord.
Over clouds of sin and sorrow
Raise us up to see our King
Oh, make our hearts to burn within us
Open eyes, and we will see

Verse 2
Oh Spirit, lift our hearts to Jesus
Make His love our sole delight
With ever-living bread from heaven
Hungry beggars, satisfy
Overwhelm cold hearts with kindness
Wake us with good news of grace
Oh, Lift us up to taste His goodness
Come and set our souls ablaze

Verse 3
Oh Spirit, lift our hands to Jesus
Give us strength to do His will
With open arms and true compassion
His commands we would fulfill
Overcome our hearts’ resistance
With the beauty of His scars
Oh, Set us free for love and service
Make His hands and heart be ours
