At Emmaus, we believe the church calendar helps form us into a people shaped by the gospel rather than the world’s rhythms. One important part of the church calendar is Advent—a time of anticipation and longing as we remember Christ’s first coming and look ahead to his return. This four-week series will invite us to reflect on the wonder of God taking on flesh to dwell among us, bringing hope, peace, joy, and love to a weary world. As we walk through Advent together, we aim to declare and display the gospel of Jesus—the good news that our Savior has come and will come again.
